Well I just watched the final episodes of Ouran High School Host Club and Strawberry Panic!. Both ended with good episodes... but I can't help wanting more from Ouran.
Ok. I loved how Haruhi and the entire club came to rescue Tamaki from being black mailed into marring that bitch and they all said how much they care for him and love the club. I also liked at the end when Kyouya's and Tamaki's fathers were talking and almost fighting over who's son will marry Haruhi (Tamaki.. Seriously). But I really need more... I'm the kind of person who likes her parings to happen by the end of the series and yeah they did get so very close but not quite. I want to know if things ever get better for Tamaki with his family and I want to know where everyone goes after Ouran. All in all I suppose it was a decent ending. (And Haruhi look ADORIBLE in that dress. Anyone who doesn't like Haruhi after this episode is a moron). I will still have the manga and fanfics to support my need for this fandom. Ouran was fun and will always be one of my favorites.
I don't know if any of you guys watch Strawberry Panic! but I'll put my comments on the series ending under a cut -just- to be on the safe side.
I have said this before, but I really didn't think I could finish Strawberry Panic!. It was sappy and dull at parts.. but the stong relationships, wether it be friendship or romantic, kept me comming back for more. The final episode ended exactly as I would have liked it to. Shizuma's love confession was perfect and AmanexHikari couldn't have been more beautiful. Yes, I admit it -is- a corny lovey dovey series. Clearly a GL story made for girls (none of that 'lesbains are hot lets watch them have sex' crap). So.. the ending.. awesome. It ended where it should have.
So now I have very little anime I am watching (Ah! My Goddess season 2 and Saiunkoku Monogatari). There are some finished anime I have been meaning to watch.. but I am dying for a new anime that is still in production. Anyone know of any good fantasy/romance/comedy/action/adventure or BL/GL out there? (of course it doesn't have to be all of those things :P)
