xmas
I actually hate when people write xmas. i also hate depressed mall santas, fake snow on trees, plastic christmas trees, and pop divas who use vocal gymnastics to butcher christmas carols. OTher than that, i love christmas more than any other time of year. oh yeah and it's sometimes way too cold. but i love how people are generally happy, and everything smells like baking or pine. i love figuring out what i'm going to get people, and seeing the looks on their faces when they open their presents. This year i'm going to be in paris from the 16th to the 24th, so i'll miss a good portion of the US holiday cheer, but i'm sure that the french will help me out. ooooh and there'll be lots of yummy food. i'm expecting to give most of my friends chocolate for christmas.
ooooh college applications. i find out from stanford on thursday, and then it's a frantic rush to finish the rest of them. ugh and i KNOW that i should have been doing these constantly, but i really think that i have been. i've finished 7 of my schools, and some of them are common app and almost done so that's good too. ahhhh recommendations forgot about that and i really need to pack and i'm going to see my boyfriend for like 30 minutes this week and then not see him again until christmas eve. and i have no idea what to get him for christmas. boys are too hard to shop for. anyway, merry christmas to all of you....i love you all
