Summer So Far
So since school has ended I've been working a lot. Five days a week, close every night except Saturday when I get off at five, only have Friday and Sunday off. Jorge has started quasi-flirting with me again. Not sure how I feel about that.
Went bowling with the work crew last week and went to a bunch of grad parties. Am going lazer-tagging with work people tomorrow in New Roc City, which should be super funtimes as long as I don't have to drive. Going into the city on Friday with Rei and Saki, I think. Am determined to make plans to go to Six Flags, Rye Playland, and Coney Island at some point this summer. May go to Baltimore with Saki and Rei, still haven't quite figured that one out.
Haven't caught up on nearly as much sleep as I wanted. Haven't written a lot either, although I did start something new last night which is just destined to me the Next Great American Novel (note the sarcasm).
I had like twenty minutes between the end of my shrink appointment and the beginning of my work shift today, so I went to Borders and bought this book called Perfume which is fucked up beyond all measure and this box set of FIFTY CLASSIC HORROR MOVIES for only FIFTEEN DOLLARS. It features awesome stuff like:
-Metroplois
-Night of the Living Dead
-Phantom of the Opera
-The Hunchback of Notre Dam
-Nosferatu
-The House on Haunted Hill
-The Last Man on Earth
and stuff with great titles that will probably be crazy funny like:
-Attack of the Giant Leeches
-The Revolt of the Zombies
-The Giant Gilla Monster
-The Brain that Wouldn't Die
-Kind of the Zombies
-Swamp Women
-Monster from a Prehistoric Planet
-THE GORILLA!
-Dementia 13
Am excited for watching these along with the Miyazaki-thon, whenever that may be. Also need to watch PIRATES! with Holly and that crew.
Next time I see Eric I will politley ask him if his theater is getting the Dark Knight and if he wants to take me to see a preview. Am trying not to get hopes up after our plans for Wanted flopped.
