My wheels got curbed again. Badly. And this time, I have no idea how.

This city is destroying my car. More rock chips, wheel damage, and scratches in the past two weeks than in the past four years (with the exception of the hit-and-run, of course).

Drove Wes to the airport this morning. He is attending an Audi press event in Montreal. I'm so proud of him, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious. I stayed in bed while he showered and dressed, figuring I had no reason to change out of my flannel PJ pants and his Red Sox hoodie. I looked like shit and he looked phenomenal, as usual. I'm getting used to that.

My writing "career" is dead in the water and I haven't done anything creative in months. I'm reasonably sure my latest feature is not going to get published, and I'm facing the fact that my writing style simply does not suit any auto publication in existence. My choices are a) don't get published or b) follow the standard auto feature outline, making sure to mention as many parts manufacturers and suppliers as possible. Since I am still an absolute nobody, there are few, if any, options available to me.

I still need a job.

I'm dreading returning to Massachusetts this week, but that is a story for another post.
