Whoot Fire Alarm.
Ok, for the past like... what, 9 nights I think? the fire alarm in my new apartment building on campus has gone off after 11... it keeps getting later... and last night, it went off at 12:50... obviously, I wasn't in bed, but still... so we all go out and they campus safety lady comes... and she doesn't know where the fire box is, even though the entire building knows, by now... she was actually pretty competent, especially when compared to some of the others we've gotten... but... her codes to turn off the alarm don't work.... so while us girls're (and one really sweet guy... Preston) outside listening to the mind-numbingly loud fire alarm (I swear it sounds like a cricket amplified like 1,000 times) a water bulloon comes outta no where. Well, Preston gets PISSED. He starts off by yelling at the guys on the roof, then he goes up to the roof himself and tried to corner the bullooners... then when they get past him he FLIES after them... I had no idea he could run that fast... it was amazing. But they got away, somehow... even though we had the building surrounded... I felt kinda silly, really... *shrug* It's not like they actually hit anyone... Oh, well. But... anyho... like an hour later the alarm's STILL going off... the security chic's trying desperately to get in touch with anyone who can do something.... but another guy that showed up laters came and decided... Hey, there's an on and an off master switch for the building, maybe that'll help. Nice try, but the off switch worked while the on did not... not to mention the alarm was STILL going off... whoot for auxillary power. Total failure. So the alarm got shut off about 30 mins later, but the power took longer... all in all, we were outside until like 3 am. Seriously sad.
