I'm actually having a good day today!
I did my musicianship homework in music history efficiently and accurately, and musicianship was loads of fun. Now I'm done with academics, so I just have rehearsal from 5 to [fuckin'] 9 pm. Shit. I'll deal though.
I love my Musicianship Prof right now. She's such a cynical Canadian sometimes.
Oh and the bitchy Grad student that wouldn't talk to 1st years.....she totally invited me to her apartment for a party and she hasn't even set a date for it yet. That cheered me up.
The oldest of the Grads is an awesome dude always, and every day he feels more and more like the mentor I lost when I moved away from the NWS. Life is ok right now, man.
I nearly died laughing on the phone to my mum yesterday evening- I told her I was so tired in general that I was lying down on the floor in the hall outside my room talking to her. She exclaimed "WHAT?!?!".
"Don't get into these common North American habits!! People will think you are a drug addict! Fly the proud flag of civilization at all times!"
I'd gotten up- only to return to the floor in a stuppor of hilarity.
