(no subject)
After about a one-year hiatus from my Bartok Concerto for Orchestra recordings, I have returned.
I just want to tell the world that Philly/Ormandy is THE ONLY recording of it one can say is top notch. FRIGG the damn Chicago/Reiner recording.....screw Reiner in general. I can't believe people want to talk about Boston and Chicago after hearing the Philly recording. They must be insane. Philly makes all my recordings- St. Louis, San Fran/Blomstedt, Hungarian State/Fischer, Chicago/Reiner, Chicago/Levine sound like freakin' afterbirth.
