I'm glad you weren't hurt. I've never felt an earthquake even though I've been told we've had them.

I want to move to California. Someday I plan to.;) I'm working on it.

I'm still pleasantly surprised no one was hurt. After hearing about the Haitian and Chilean earthquakes at the beginning of the year, you get used to the idea of them being very, very bad.

According to the news, the area is likely to get an earthquake of that size every fifteen to twenty years. But they are still small compared to other parts of Canada.

I'd have to brush up on my french if I went east. I guess spanish is more popular in California, eh?

I never even realized that Canada got earthquakes. I always think of them as being in California mostly.

Yep, spanish is more popular in California. I've studied some of it but I'd sure need to brush up and study more if I needed to speak it there.XD

The west coast of Canada is sort of like California. It's where we normally get our earthquakes. Lots of people worry about a big one hitting Vancouver at some point.

I don't think you need to speak Spanish in California, do you? There's... just a lot of Spanish speaking people. In Montreal I don't think I have to learn French, but it is the official language. In Quebec they do a lot to try and preserve their language so they discourage speaking English.

No, I don't think you have to know Spanish to live in California.

Yeah, from what I know, Quebec is predominantly french speaking, at least that's what the man we knew from there said.

Alex, can I email you? I wanted to talk to you about something that I'm not comfortable talking about in my LJ. Is your email address still the same?

Most of Quebec is, yeah. There are small pockets of Anglophones here and there but it's mostly Quebecois.

Sure. Email away. My email should be the same.

I think Quebec would be neat, because of the French architecture.^_^ Or at least I'm assuming it has that....

I thought I had it written down but I don't seem to, or I lost it. I think I know what it is but I don't know if you want it publicly posted here, what I think it is. If you don't, you can email me with it at HidansLove@comcast.net

Oh, and do you mind me giving Naruto spoilers? I haven't read them yet actually, I've just figured them out on my own.

Quebec City is actually one of the oldest cities in North America. It's also one of the only walled cities, I think. When I went there there were lots of neat old buildings, stone streets and churches around. It was sort of like being in Europe.

My email is crazyponko@gmail.com or calcoa@hotmail.com. I use the former more now but I still check the other one now and then.

And Naruto spoilers are fine.
