Selling or buying things on craigslist doesn't mean you are allowed to be an ass to the people you deal with. I recently sold a fish tank that was worth AT LEAST 50 for 20 because I wanted it gone ASAP. When the person showed up she asked (after I carried it down the stairs by myself and loaded it into her car for her!) if I'd take 15. Um...no. I got my $20 but she acted like I was robbing her.
I'm also selling a saddle and I just got this e-mail:
I am from Pueblo Co and am in Loveland today. I would like to look at your saddle, but you failed to post a phone number so that I could call you. Call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx
HA- I "failed" to post a phone number? probably because I dont want people calling me out of the blue and having me run around to suit their needs. If he had e-mailed me yesterday to let me know he was going to be in the area I could have planned to come out and see him and I would have done it gladly. But sending me an e-mail like that makes me very unlikely to even respond. I do have two other people interested in it.
