warning: the world might end
Today I bought a mini-skirt. For a girl who hasn't worn shorts since...ever, that's a huge step. not only did I buy it but I think I look good in it. This just goes to prove that people can change you through association. Hang out with the boy who knows he is beautiful and tells you that you are, eventually it sinks in that you might not be completely ugly.
I have to be awake in about five and a half hours to drive my mom to the airport for the trip that I should have been going on with her. Oh well, I'm going to finish up training and then get paid. woot.
I've pretty much just discarded the sci-fi fic idea being as I don't read sci-fi and have no idea how the genre even functions. I think you should write what you are familiar with and for me that is defiantly not sci-fi. the only sci-fi I know is Firefly and that's not really what I see as classic for the genre. I might be starting a fantasy based fic that I had the idea for while checking the weather online. Where the heck do these ideas come from? I'm much better versed in fantasy than I am in sci-fi.
I should probably stop procrastinating here so that I can go finish the rest of my daily procrastination before bed so that I can get at least four hours of sleep tonight. tata.
