Soaring, Flying...
Last Wednesday I was hanging out with Wes, Keith, and Keith's roommate (Bryan) in their dorm. Wes and Keith were playing video games, I was spacing out because they were playing video games, and Bryan was messing around on his guitar. Then randomly Bryan goes, "My friend Zac's movie is coming out soon." I've had friends who know people with little roles in random stuff before, so I didn't really get to excited about this. But still, I asked what movie and he said Hairspray. I then say, "Oh, really? Who is he?" thinking he was some background dancer or something.
Bryan replies: "Zac Efron"
I had the blankest look on my face after that. I don't even care about High School Musical or any of that stuff, but the fact that Bryan is good friends with Zac Efron blew my mind. Especially because Bryan is a HUUUGE druggie. Makes me wonder if they share the common interest. However, I did later find out the reason Zac isn't on the HSM tour is because he got a DUI. Hahaha.
Since it took me awhile to formulate a sentence, Keith goes "What, are you in love with him?" I then said "No, but I know people who are!!" We didn't stay on the topic for too long, but what Bryan did tell me was that they had to butch him up a bit for Hairspray and that he had to keep that Disney image for 3 years cause he had a contract with them. And I also found out that yes, he and Vanessa Hudgens are indeed dating in real life.
That's pretty much the end of the story. I couldn't think of anything else to ask Bryan without sounding super stalkery. But I do wish I had asked him if he smokes...I'd totally light up with Troy Bolton. ;-)
