Bad day
Well...
My job is dangerous. Period. You have to be careful, you have to have what the U.S. Airforce calls 'situational awareness' . Hazards abound everywhere! We work in the shittiest weather, and for log hours ( not bitching mind you..just stating a fact ).
We lost a driver today. He was killed at 4:30 AM...T-boned by a semi truck.
I trained this guy and worked with him last year...here in VA.
..no he wasn't a superstar..actualy he kinda pissed me off with his tendency NOT to save his map GPS logs tho I told him to.
his name was Gift..he was from Cameroon. He leaves 3 kids and a wife....
The other drivers are bumed..
..office is freaking...
