days pass by so quickly, you don't even realize that you've stepped into the new year already. yes my friends, it's already 2007. and its just now that i have updated my blog. forgive me. *sigh* i don't have any excuse for my laziness. but...i dont regret one bit of it. i enjoyed just chilling on the couch, watching tv, and sleeping all day long. there should be more days like those...but it does get tiring after awhile. i am here in janice's new apartment and although she is asleep right now, i am not complaining. i don't have any reason to. this is a good change for me. yesterday i went back to work already..and although there were some parts of the day that were tiring, it still felt worth it to go back to work. i didn't feel like waking up early though but nevertheless that didn't stop me from going to work.
i just finished watching breakfast at tiffany's. its the first time i watched it. audrey hepburn is beautiful, isn't she? i love her style.. she's very sophisticated. the movie was not bad. icould relate. maybe everybody could relate to it at some level you know? i didn't know that moon river was sung in this movie too. i am totally in love with this song now!
Moon river, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

poetic moment
"brick wall"
i type these words
trying to find sense in my thoughts
searching for feelings
of happiness, loneliness...
just searching deep in side
for true, honest feelings
of the day
of the time
of the moment
of my situation
i listen to Moon River
and admire Audrey Hepburn's beauty
there's so much inspiration
to write lyrics and poems
i turn head,
and look to my right
i see grass, plants and flowers in pots
i look around,
see vases of all colors, shapes and sizes
a podium with the remains of a smoke
blinds on windows
on a neighbor's home
and i stare on a wall
a red brick wall
and this is where i shall stop.
this is where i shall end.
