Hot Balls
So today I went to the Kids Park and had a freakin' water balloon war. It was amazing.
My fingers are numb from tying 200+ balloons, but we played this made-up game called "Hot Balls". What we did was toss a water balloon around as if it were a hot potato. If the balloon explodes on that person, they have 10 seconds to run away before we are allowed to run after them with two balloons in our hands. So basically we're on a wild duck hunt after this defenseless person.
We could only go as far as two rounds before I had to make 30+ more balloons for the next set. I think the best round was Megan's first round. (She was bait for every other turn three times.) I cornered her and on that bridge and balloons came flying everywhere.
I never dropped the balloon, but I decided, that it would be my turn to be hunted. aklsdjf I was so tired just running around that I was easy for the hunters. Christa smashed a balloon in my face. Thank goodness that it didn't hurt. I was soaked by the time everybody was done with their two balloons.
Christa and Axel were like gazelles when we had to hunt them! I barely had energy in their own individual round. Axel was especially hard to catch. I don't think he got wet at all, so I splashed the water from the bucket on him instead.
So the day was fun. There are awkward tans all over my body, but eh.
And then when I got home, (500) Days of Summer came on HBO! I've been wanting to watch that movie for a long time! I was not disappointed when I finished. However, I was a little heartbroken and sad, but I couldn't hate the movie because of that. The beginning did give warning that it wasn't a love story. But...gah! Joseph Gordon-Levitt...! So effin' PRECIOUS. I just love these kinds of movies where two people are being all cute and derpy. I'm a sucker for this kind of fluff! ;w;
