because i knew about coheed since i had long hair. i am a bit out of it as of late but i remember a few good bands. hold on... at the drive in, glass jaw, every time i die, mars volta, sparta. i'd need a few more minutes than i have to think of some of the others that i know of, these cats i actually dig dig, dig? i am more into schizophrenic indy lately: devendra bahnardt (?), any elephant six band, wolf parade and a bunch more. i have a cook's job where i get to listen to all the music i want. it rules!

Yeah, I kind of dig Mars Volta and Sparta, though I haven't heard more than my friend David has introduced me to. OTherwise, I just listen to what sounds good. Unfortunately, sometimes that is bad music.

I get to listen to all the music I want to at work, in a lovely 13 hour shift, and I must say that it does, in fact, rule.

I've been good. Got a decent job with an awesome schedule. Living with my boyfriend in Milwaukie, have way to much free time on my hands. I have become a little boring, but you know, whatever.

Jess is doing well. They are moving out of the place in Colton soon, which is kinda sad because I like going to see her, and my dad being there.

Melody is doing pretty damn good. Slowly but surely the business is taking off. She does some really amazing work, and I was one of the lucky ones who got a corest when she still did them for super cheap. She has had a few photo shoots and stuff.

All in all, I think we are all coming out of some really fucking gay ass slump.

Yeah, things were just icky for a long while. We've all had money issues (yeah, who doesn't?) and emotional issues, with the whole dead friends and family thing, and we have all been fucked pretty bad by people in the not so distant past. It has been a fucking BITCH trying to get money to go to school for me.

But mostly I just like to complain. :)

i am almost graduated from college, from there i just need a certification and i can teach. basically i'm at a cross roads because i could possibly start grad school but i also have a decent job that i could also get another job while working and i could probably horde some cash and do something... i dunno. kathy, my longtime girlfriend keeps saying the word "marriage" for the sake of utility because i had the chance to go to argentina and, because her parents wouldn't co-sign a loan, i couldn't go. so now we're thinking about going to peace corps, but we'd need to be "married" so that we'd be stationed together.
