(no subject)
wow i feel accomplished. it's only 1215 and i have already done 3 loads of laundry, washed my (yuck) dishes, swept my floor, folded my laundry (oooh), taken care of my health insurance, car insurance, car payment, cell phone payment, check to the hospital, and figured out my fall schedule to inform my supervisor of the days i will be coming in for the next four months. and i am done with classes for the day. Now all i have to do is figure out this student loan crap and get a hold of the person in charge of the GI Bill. Whoopee. oh yeah i should probably do my homework too.
class today was weird. we're studying the columbine shooting and why the kids did it and man i was put off by it. we had to look up the one assasin's website and the stuff on it was gruesome. it's not that i am bothered beyond anyone who would normally look at it--it's a standard reaction, but i guess i just don't understand the kid. man, i love life and can't get enough of it even when it's down. those downs just make the ups even better. I guess perspective is going to be the focus for me this semester.
on a lighter note, there is a damn fly who is bothering the piss out of me and the bastard is sooo gonna get it...
Ha! anyway... i got $ for my text books. yay. thanks to good ol' dad. you know it really sucks when you try to be independant in everyway--even to the point of paying for your own 40,000 a year schooling and all your other expenses and then you don't get paid. Whoever is holding up the Tap award needs to be shot because they are costing me my GI Bill until it gets distributed. In the meantime, i have to rely on my wit and my dad to get me by. i have wittingly taken out all the library books that i can find to serve as my text books aha. but that still leaves french and german class. maybe i'll just rummage up all the cans on campus to raise money....hmmm. Keep on drinkin slu, keep on drinkin.
well so much for this interesting update on the lifestyle of the poor and poverished. i'll probably add more later. :-D
