I feel crappy today.
So I didn't go to work. I hate being sick. I'm hoping that this will pass quickly. Lot's of rest and such. So I'll probably be at my place all day.
In other news. I had a pretty awesome weekend. It always helps when you are hanging out with awesome people. But adding to the awesomeness of it, I finally got a bike! I took it off Mandi's hands and I love it. It is a beautiful red and cream Schwinn Cruiser. It kind of looks like the bike in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The only sad thing about that is that I haven't had a chance to ride it yet. Yesterday it was raining in the morning when I was planning on riding it and now today I'm ill. So that's pretty lame. But I can't wait to go out riding on it. Maybe later this afternoon if I'm feeling any better.
What else? Oh yeah, I got kind of freaked out on Saturday morning. I went out on my back porch to enjoy a cigarette and was suprised at what I found. Normally, I have a little can of cigarette butts and a couple of plants back there. I walk out and the can of butts is knocked over and spilled all over the place and on of my plants was knocked off the porch and laying on the ground on its side. It kind of freaked me out because it seemed like someone was trying to get into my apartment or something. Yeah, now I'm being super careful about keeping my doors locked.
Call me paranoid. I don't care. I just call it being aware of my surroundings. Women who live alone can't be too careful. That's just how I see it.
Well, I suppose I will go downstairs and try to keep myself occupied. I hate staying home sick. Makes me feel worthless.
