NALGENE!!!
A few months ago, my purple Nalgene - my loved, battered, stickered plastic water bottle that had accompanied me through more than five years of live - did not make it back from my last rugby game.
Since then, I have been limping along, using hugely inferior squishy-plastic water bottles. I kept up hope that someone would find my old Nalgene, recognize it as mine, and return it to me.
But as the months wore on, I lost hope.
So, today, when I went to the gym* and discovered an REI next door, I decided - today was the day. The day for a REPLACEMENT.
And after a long, long time considering the various models, sizes, and colors on display, I walked out with note one but TWO NEW NALGENES!!!!!
They are AWESOME. One is purple with a pink heart and the "Life is Good" slogan** and the other is a fantastic shade of not-quite-turquoise blue with trees on it.
They are in the dishwasher and I am SO EXCITED TO USE THEM!!!!
*One of my coworkers gave me a free pass to his - I have finally decided that I need to just give in and get a gym membership. Laundragym just don't cut it.
