I'm home visiting the parents for the weekend, and as we usually do whenever I visit, we rented a movie.
Tonight it was August Rush, my choice because I'd heard that Kaki King does some of the guitar work.
And it was awesome. Kind of a New York fairy tale with fantastic music - it had a magic realism sort of attitude to the plot, and rather unlikely things happened completely unapologetically, but everything to a fantastic soundtrack.
I wish there were more movies like that.
