Reasons NOT to wear brand-spankin' new pants when you get your period:
1. You might get them stained (eeeew!)
2. Depending on the material, new pants will feel a wee- bit tight the first time you wear them, as they have not yet been broken in, softened up and reshaped to fit you. When you have your period, they will feel about a size-two sizes too small, thus making you feel like an elephant.
Reason #2 is my issue today. Not only am I getting over another nasty little cold, but I weighed myself the other day. Now, I know I put on some weight, but even people around me refuse to believe I've put on 20lbs since this summer! My new pants were feeling pretty damn uncomfortable this morning, then I found out I got my period. No wonder. It's all ducking water weight and I'm bloated. Dumb-ass me... Luckily, reason #1 has yet to happen.
So, since I have been feeling lately like I weigh a million pounds, and I would kinda like to finish something for a change, I bought a Yoga mat this weekend, and reserved a half hour in the family room so I can do my Yoga DVD every couple of days, and use my sister's Gazelle machine for 10 minutes every day. Then I get fucking sick, all plans on hold until I can breathe again. I am going to join a gym again - this time, the one that I get a corporate membership to. I can use all the weights and machines, and I looked at their schedule of classes online (which my memebrship would INCLUDE) and found two evening classes - a Yoga class and a water something-or-other class. Yippee! I want to get in shape. I want to feel comfy in my bathing suit. I have 2 weeks to take of vacation time. I would love to take something in June and have a yard sale to fund a big trip in September. I am thinking a cuise. And dammit, I wanna be HOT for that cruise. We shall see...
Things in general are the same... still not happy with my job, still annoyed as fuck with my co-worker. He's driving me Effing NUTS. OH, how I wish I could just leave this job and never look back... =(
