26 Days to go!
We had a very nice thanksgiving. Went over to Richard's and Dustin made me a cornish hen with stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy, and they ate swoardfish and scallops. (i can't have fish.... damn mercury content!) Oh well! We watched some football and Deal or No Deal.
Today Dustin and I both have off, he's about to go buy a new fish for his fishtank and I'm sitting on the couch feeling my baby move! 26 days!!!! Anytime now Lily!
As of next Wednesday her eviction notice will be served lol.
Dr. Phil is taking about non-schooling and homeschooling. I was homeschooled for the last years of highschool, and it makes me mad when they rip on parents for not giving their kids tests and saying their kids won't be able to do the ACT's or SAT's. I passed my GED with a better score than 90% of graduating seniors and I got really good scores on the ACT's and have gotten into 3 different colleges, and my parents didn't make me do anything structured while i was "homeschooled". Obviously it depends on the kid, but I think I did just fine.
Oh well... Lily's going to school though! At least until she's old enough to make up her mind for herself.
