Hello DC!
Hey all!
So i've been in washington this weekend, and its been great. As usual, mike has invited me to strange places so i have stories to tell. When i got to dc, i immediately drove to virginia to watch mike fight. Fight=preparing for Pentic=a festival where people dress a celts or medieval soldiers or whatever and fight and camp for a week. There is some video footage of the practice.
Of course, i did everything i shouldn't do when encountering bugs at dusk, forgetting that misquitos exist after spending most of my summer in nyc. So, i was covered in bites within the first 1/2 hour, and they are just starting to calm down.
Today was dad's birthday, so we saw LADY IN THE WATER, which i thought was FANTASTIC, and then ate at Rio Grande, my favorite. So that was the day.
I was looking forward to seeing jenni, but she seems to be feeling too sick to come out and play. Amanda (?), Corinna, and Katie might come out to clyde's with me anyways. Maybe other people will be there too. We'll see what happens. So i'm gona take a nap before heading over.
