Speaking of cats, there's a posting on the Career Center website asking for a housesitter for a house, a cat and the couple's 15 (FIFTEEN!) year old son. It says that the son is very quiet, responsible, helpful, blah blah... so why are they not leaving the son to housesit? Strikes me as very odd.
Anyone who keeps up with this journal might remember an entry where I said that sometimes I feel like I can be strong for myself and many others... I've started doubting the truth of that lately, until today when I felt like many of my friends' problems have tumbled down on me. And they all find consolation in me. It's actually helped me deal with my own disappointment. I know that sounds sort of selfish, but it's good to channel your energy somewhere else.
