(no subject)
I bought a new bowl off of Masino. HUGE housemate discount. He never named her. And I believe he only smoked out of it... twice? A shame.
Her name is Vanessa, by the way. Mel agreed with me.
I've resolved to begin waking up consistently at 7AM. So far my resolve has held exactly 0 times.
I'll get there, though.
The motivation behind this decision was that no matter how early I wake up, I'm perfectly fine if I wake up on my own. However, if I am jarred awake by such means as an alarm clock, I immediately hate my life and everything in it, and I mumble curses under my breath all the way to the shower.
If I wake up at 7AM consistantly enough, hopefully my body clock will be set to this time, an I will no longer need the services of the devil's buzzer clock.
I've resolved to apply to the Peace Corps next year. I'm hesitant to mention it because of the unnecessary feedback I got last time. This doesn't make me any better of a person. Your praise makes me feel like I'm doing it for just that reaction, and I'm really not. I'm doing this because I won't have an debts to pay, and I need to do something for the world before I die. Other people have things that need to be taken care of as soon as they graduate. I don't. The fact that I'm able to do something that others are not does not elevate me above them. I appreciate your support, but it's not necessary, nor have I necessarily earned it.

Sure, I've skipped a couple lectures, but I'm all caught up on the material. THIS is something that I actually feel proud of myself for.
It's late in the game, but I should be able to recover as long as I keep this up.
You know, as far as roomates go, I've never actually had a "bad" one.
But that doesn't stop me from hating the fact that I have one.
It's not him, he's not doing anything wrong, he's actually one of the best roomates I've ever had.
I just wish that there was a place that I could go to have some absolute privacy.
I can't wait to move into the basement. Not only will I have my own room, I'll have my own BATHROOM. There is that one pillar that ruins a lot of the room's usability, but I think I've figured something out that will work wonderfully.
Mike's Hunt:
We're looking strong. There's a new "role" system that should be interesting. I am the scout, which looks like it's going to be the most fun. Schreier's car is fairly big, three people should be relatively comfortable in the back seat. We have a fucking BRILLIANT idea for a bribe. Our name is still being negotiated, but I'm pretty sure we're almost settled on one that's perfect, given our team captain and one of the guys in THI...
We're going to fucking dominate this Hunt.
