Astoria
Well, I am finally living in Queens. I had to move out of my apartment in Manhattan on Sunday because the lease was ending, and it was just too expensive to stay there. I was apprehensive at first about living in Astoria, but I have been exploring some and absolutely love it here. I went jogging yesterday morning in a park with a track near the river. Queens feels like an actual neighborhood/city I am used to...there are quiet streets, highways, gas stations. It is great. Elizabeth will be living with me and Jake (whose apartment it is) until the lease is up in May. Who knows what will happen then. But no need to worry about that now anyway.
As far as today goes I have been productive and have been working on my thesis. I have to work tonight, so I am trying to get as much done as I can. And I work all day tomorrow and Saturday...thank God I have Mondays off though. It is due on the 24th of this month and I am almost at freak out point. But once it is over with I am going to celebrate like never before!
