Bush '00 Campaign Flip-Flops:
*Promised for vast majority of tax cuts to go to low/middle income families - Really top 20% of earners got 69.8% of tax cuts
*Promised affordable health insurance for low-income families - # uninsured up by 4 mil., insurance premiums up 12.5%/yr
*Promised the fed. gov't will comply w/environmental laws - Dept. Defense exempt from laws past 3 yrs.
*Promised Social Security surplus to be locked away only for S.S. - Spent $159 bil. of S.S. Trust Fund surplus in 1st fiscal year

oh and that new ad by the "swift boat vets for truth" is bullshit - actually all 13 people they "interviewed" never actually served with kerry...so not only does bush renege his promises he made to the american people, but his supporters have no qualms about blatantly lying to the american people...of course, we could have predicted that, considering bush's excellent track record with telling the truth.
