So, this is my last LJ entry ever. I'm closing this journal up, just shy of it's two year anniversary (9 days away).
To everyone who has commented, thanks so much. It's fun to read your journals. As you read the next part of this entry, keep in mind that our journals are public and anyone can read them and anyone can get you in trouble. Just be cautious, and don't find yourself in the position that I find myself in now.
To the Verona Parent who took it upon themselves to stick their nose in other people's business and lives, fuck you. I don't have a "drinking problem" as you so eloquently reported to my mother after reading my live journal. And I know you're sitting there thinking "you'll thank me later", actually I won't. My relationship with my mom was fine as it stood, and it really is none of your business.
I know I took a risk by making my journal public, but I created this to keep in touch with friends from home and school, NOT so that some nosy parent could snoop around my business and try to run my life. In case you haven't noticed, I'm 19, I have my life under control, and I really don't need some middle aged parent who has nothing better to do with their time than interfere in my life telling my MOTHER that I drink too much.
So I know you still think that "in the long run", I'll thank you, but you are sorely mistaken. This is my life, and I didn't put it down here, in my journal, to be judged or snitched on, but rather to chronicle it and sort things out by putting them in writing. So please, when you see me next, don't even bother saying hello. I really don't need fake people in my life, you being number one on the list. Get a life, and stop worrying about mine. I'm fine, I promise.
I leave you with this quote, which I believe is quote appropriate, considering you, the parent (I'll let you be anonymous here because I don't want your kid to be embarressed, just know that I know), consider yourself to be so moral that you can judge other people's lives:
"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" John 8:7
PEACE
