(no subject)
Well finally got done with the field. I'm pretty much exhausted. I think I just stayed wet after the rain because of all the sweat. If I moved a muscle it would make it worse. I tried to sneak home and get a shower, but it didn't work because I was already sweating on the flight back out to the field site. On the way in we had an emergency procedure but it wasn't bad. I love it when something like that happens and gets your heart racing. It's always good when it doesn't turn out to be bad. Last night one of the privates lost his wallet and keys so we had to look all over for them. The place we were at had knee high grass and after looking for hours they found them by the portapotties. We all just wanted to kill him. Then I woke up this morning after sweating my butt off and getting about 4 hours of sleep and had to run my bird for an hour to burn fuel so that we could pick up the sling load and go home. I realized halfway through that I didn't have my $100 oakley's and after asking around someone said they saw them and that they were missing a side and that he thought someone threw them away. I'm thinking someone has a nice pair of glasses right now. Then we flew home in some really crappy weather without codes or filing a flight plan(shame on me). I'm just glad we got home in one piece I was so tired. I'll try and get pictures tomorrow.
