life as it is today
as older friends come close again,
newer friends start to fade.
As the newer use up the kindness given,
they break the promises they've given.
The older, though, give promises,
that I know are good.
As they're older friends, they really mean the kindness that is there.
So what do I do, do I stay with the newer till I make them come clean?
Or do I go to the older and live a happier and easier life?
When I ask for help, they all don't have the help I need, but two have promised,
and one is more likely to give than the other....
I just don't know anymore....
