In which I have feelings about a children's television program.
My gosh The Legend of Korra. I have never gotten this emotionally engaged in a television show, much less an animated one. Today's episode left me on the floor in front of my television, hugging a pillow to my chest and emoting all over the place. The storytelling. The storytelling. Goodness gravy gracious, I'm caring about these (drawings of) people.
At this point I think a gush post is mandatory lest all my thoughts about this show continually swim around my head. But I think I'll wait till next week after the season finale.
And to think five or six years ago I thought Avatar: The Last Airbender looked like a silly American anime rip-off (without even watching it!). I have never been so thrilled to be wrong.
Also there's fart jokes and those are always funny.
