I saw my Susan at the watermelon festival!!!!! yaaaaaay i am quite happy about that- i hadn't seen her since our last concert together (sniffle...) lollol anyways that was awesome! I also have been talking to a guy named Shayne who's gonna go to school here this year, he lives right across the street from the school (the house on the corner, facing the library. lol) more on that later though.
Saturday was crazy! I got up and went into the festival at 9:30 and worked at the Student Council booth selling WF (Watermelon Festival) t-shirts from 10-12. At 12 I met Shayne and we walked around and then sat around and just had a lot of fun. I kept trying to get his cell phone from him but I couldn't ever get it! I almost had to tackle him and hold him down to get it while we were layin in the grass.... maybe I should have tried that.... hehe. Anyways, around 2:30 I saw my Susan! She called my cell phone and I was like OMG where are you and she was like "at the barbecue place and i was like OMG I SEE YOU and then we ran to each other and we were like OMG ITS BEEN SO LONG and the rest is a lot more OMG's and high pitched noises and hugging. Yay! I was so glad to see her. (I love you dear! hahaha) She had to go chill with her mom though so me and Shayne sat around for a while longer layin in the grass and fighting over his phone, lol, and then at 3 i had to go work in the Indian Taco booth. What is it with everyone and Indian Tacos??????? People were lined up for hours to wait for them. They didn't even look that good! But I was there until about 5:30, when we closed the booth because we ran out of stuff to make tacos with (ha ha ha) I was working the money and handing people tacos, and this old man and his bearded wife (I'm NOT kidding. She had a beard and he didn't. It was sick.) When that was FINALLY over, Ethan showed me where Adam Divine and Tanner Griffin were working, with their very nice friend Taylor (from Elmore City). There were inside the melon place loading melons onto the platforms for people to slice them up. It was cool and dark in there (no lights, but plenty of air conditioning!) so I hung out with them for a long time until their shift was up. Then Adam drove us all to the Marlow Sonic and we ate burgers and stuff hahaha I had them going with perverted jokes it was HILARIOUS but you just had to be there hahahahhahahahhahha too funny. I love being one of the guys. Later Adam dropped me off at home and I came inside and talked to Shayne. Man, he and I have been text messaging constantly for the last few days and I just found out that if i go over a hundred texts, it's 10 cents each for the rest. I AM SO DEAD!!!! Needless to say he and I aren't texting anymore. Sigh... I want to really bad though because he can't talk on the phone and his computer is broken. I have to wait until tomorrow night when he isn't grounded from the phone anymore! *sniffle* I'm so lonely. I wanna talk to him! Ahh! Anyways I got a guitar and I THINK I have it tuned, halfway properly, so I'm gonna go read up on how to play it. lol good luck to me. Ciao ciao!!! ~xoxo, Katie~
