2 months and 15 days...
... and counting 'til I get my license. Alright i wrote a TON a minute ago but i lost it somehow and that reaaaally pisses me off. Anyways... I live 5 miles north of Rush Springs and 15 south of Chickasha, so no matter where I go it's gotta be a little more planned because none of my friends want to drive so far out in the country and pick me up. When I want to go somewhere I have to plan ahead a lot because my parents never just "run me into town," they're not like that at all. Life in the Hodges' household is very structured. There's not much flexibility in my schedule! Once I get my license, I'll be able to go for off campus lunch's instead of walking two blocks to "the Deli" (which only serves burgers... why didn't they name it "the Burger Place" or something more fitting? ha that would bring in the business... although I guess it doesn't matter in Rush.) Also, I'll be able to drive Chelsea home after school and stay at her house for a while and just hang out, and we could go to Hop N' Sack for snacks on the way. And I'll actually LEAVE THE HOUSE on Friday and Saturday nights. Woo hoo! I can't wait for the chance to meet new people, make more friends, and meet new guys. The ones in Rush totally aren't worth dating... would you want to date anyone you'd known since kindergarten? Well, it happens but you know what I mean. Sigh... maybe next year we'll have some cute new transfers move in. HA did you hear that? The heavens just opened up and "dream on" by aerosmith just started playing. lol That sounds like a mix of cheesy movie effects but you get the point. Yawn... I'm gonna go, I think. Rose gets her license tomorrow, so if she comes and picks me up and takes me anywhere it'll only make me itch for my license more. Ahh! I soooooo can't wait!!! Anyways, ciao. Xoxo, the Kik's
