I would rather be unaware
Of any feeling you might have
Or of the remnants of our forgotten, makeshift plans.

If you still see
Some sort of good in me
Then keep it hidden to yourself
So I don't go thinking I still have a chance in hell.

If you still wait
And endlessly anticipate
That there will be a sudden change
Then I would recommend you force those thoughts away.

If you still dream
Something which seems
Perfect and everything you could want
I would say your dream is just that, and simply flawed.

Of me, beware.
