k, so, here's the deal
This coming Friday, I'll be 32 weeks. woohoo! That means just four more until I can deliver on base, 8 more until she's due, and 7 more until they try to induce me.
Yeah, so they're inducing me before I'm due "if cervix is favorable," meaning if I'm dilated to 2cm a week before they want to induce me (39 weeks-Aug 21). If I'm not dilated to 2cm, they will check me again at 39 weeks and do it at 40 if I'm ready. And so on and so forth, but I don't know if they'll let me get as far as 41 weeks, dilated or not. Even though nothing's going wrong--my heart stuff hasn't gotten any worse and has, in fact, gotten a bit better, and the RX they gave me for my indigestion so I can stop puking every day is working, and the ultrasound showed that Tabitha is perfect--with high risk, they don't like to let the mothers be pregnant any longer than they have to. That kinda makes me wonder why they're not going to induce me at 38 weeks when she's technically full term, but whatever. Point is, she'll be likely coming a little earlier than we'd planned.
