My nails look like shit

haha I gave myself this beautiful manicure, to kinda feel better, but painting messed it up. (did that sound self-centered?) Aanyway, here's a couple of poems I wrote.

TO HECTOR:

Goodbye my friend
I knew you so little,
but cared for you so much.
It wasn't meant to be,
yet I was the one who couldn't see
See the love you felt,
the words you shared.
Truth it always was,
though I thought differently.
I know I chose wrong,
but time will not turn back.
I can't alter the past,
so in the future I must cry.
No one is here by my side.
I will miss you forever,
and curse who I chose over you.
So goodbye,
Unlike him,
you deserve love.
Only,
I cannot be the one
for you to receive it from.

How did you do it?
How did you make me believe you were more than before?

To think I put my life on the line for you
I thought you cared

Love is just another word in the dictionary to use
No meaning

NO Love
NO Life
