I think I just lost all of my cred as a rebel against things that people think are cool but they really aren't.
You know when people quote things endlessly and the jokes lose all meaning? Or when people say, "No really, I'm indie because I like things that aren't as popular as Britney Spears" (forgetting that nothing is as popular as that stupid ho)?
So, when there's something out there that's kind of off the beaten path that people don't really notice at first but all of a sudden becomes a giant hit, a la Office Space, to the point where your genuine like of the movie is tainted because people keep TELLING YOU STUPID QUOTES OVER AND OVER?
Yeah. I guess what I'm saying is, Napoleon Dynamite came on TV tonight and I watched it.
And I thought it was funny.
