AKA I just finished the first Artemis Fowl and I swear to god if that kid does not get taken down a peg or two I'm going to pitch a FIT like WHOA.
It's as if you took Draco Malfoy and crossed him with Harry Potter's self-pity due to the whole...orphan semi-neglected/abused by Dursleys thing, and gave him a very polite yes-man, and then made him a GENIUS who only slightly cares about other people in that they are an means-to-an-end to wealth, fortune, and GOLD GOLD GOLD.
Except Butler who of course, he likes in a fatherly sense of the word, even though you can totally tell that Butler is going to do something against Artemis and Artemis is going to go right for the jugular in an attempt to make himself feel better for what seems like everyone turning against him.
Holy crap, I hope he has a mental breakdown or something otherwise I will be forced to write bash!fic. No I wouldn't do that, I would never do that, forget I said anything.
On the other hand, I *love* Root. And Foaly. And, for some strange reason, Mulch.
