i had no idea how much work moving includes. a lot. my family rented "hell on wheels" a u-haul trailer... which was definitely a pain in the ass. but i guess the cheapest way to get all that stuff to the townhouse. it took an hour more to get here since you cant go as fast with that thing attached to the truck. i had no idea how much stuff dam and i have.

well i am at sante fe community college using the computers for free... my mom has also jumped on the band wagon.. we dont have a computer at the house yet.. so this is the only way to be connected to the cyber world. sante fe seems nice.. .its clean, modern looking.. and the people are nice and helpful.

been in gainesville since sat. i like it. very small and filled with young people.. although i am sure it will be much more filled when the fall semester starts. pretty satisfied and happy.

our townhouse has a definite "brady bunch" feel. i was waiting for marsha to come down the stairs brushing her hair. she never did. but i am dealing with some of the brown in the place and painting all the furniture i can to liven up the place and give it some color. it is super huge.. and there is so much room and i am racking my brain to see what i can find to stick in the space...so it wont look as empty. but that can wait til dam gets here... i want to get some input and feedback from him... plus it will give me a break and i wont have an anxiety attack. sanding and painting is also hard work... especially since it rains(monsoon rain) everyday for at least 2 or 3 hours.. and humidity is about 300%... but the place is getting renovated bit by bit.. so i think we made a good choice by picking this. townhouse...it is really starting to look good.

alright well ... i am now continuing to look for jobs and continue painting...and fixing up the place. wish me luck... TUES is the BIG day!!! DAM IS ARRIVING!!! WHOOOOO
