I've been thinking about love and relationships lately. I mean, why do people date? And how do you decide to stop dating? How do two people decide when there's a real relationship between them? If you go on a date with a perfect stranger, how long does it take before you decide you're not interested in that person (or that you are) and how do you tell them? And if you work with them... Of course it's all hunky-dory when the relationship is budding or ongoing, but when it falls apart? Should people who work together date? On the other hand, eschewing the potential love of one's life just because of less-than-optimal circumstances is really shooting oneself in the foot, isn't it?
How does love develop? Why does it develop? If I'm not immediately into a guy, does that preclude any feelings developing later? And, the one question that has really bugged me all my life: Am I, personally, really capable of love? But that's my own personal demon, and I'm not going to address it right now.
