yay friends :D :D :D [sorry, i guess i'm quite an exciteable person... and a total newbie when it comes to livejournal. apologies if i get annoying!]

i'm sad that i joined the fandom so late :( because the majority of the good fanfiction was written years ago. *sobs* where can i find shirorikazex? i tried lj search but i swear, it hates me...

i'm working on a takajima cracky smutty fail, and though it won't be as fantastic as your fanfiction it'll probably be my best shot :D it's nearly done, but i want to wait until after yuto's birthday because i've got another one specially for then. [sadly, that's a yamajima... i couldn't make Takaki work, he was too busy being a mermaid, and i'm not quite sure how mermaids have sex... and suddenly i'm in a very disturbing visual place O_______________O]

seriously, the whole Hands All Over cd is perfect for cooking/dancing!! i'm not exactly a chef myself, and i tend to burn things like eggs [i'm easily distracted, can you tell?] but i usually either make a giant salad or rice and [/insert.something.simple.but.tasty]. and sometimes i make multicoloured loveheart sugar cubes [ok, they're not really cubes at all...], because they're damn adorable!!

i really do talk/type too much, don't i? tell me to shut up...

i was queen of the smoking huts back in college, but i gave it up *yay willpower!* every time i see a cigarette i get this huge rush of fizzy-feel good nostalgia! add a hot guy to that mix and it's like... ovaries: BOOM!

Nishikido Ryo? *googles* so many beautiful men in the world, so little time...

nope, it's Joan Jett/ Cherie Currie /The Runaways, [I Love Rock 'n' Roll], it's a bit gritty but i really enjoyed it :D

No worries ^^

I must have gotten her username wrong though, i do it all the time. she's at papercranes-shi She just updated a Hikaru multi-chapter and a YabuHika crack fic.

That's all anyone can ask, is that you do your best ^^ [OMG OMG! Takaki a mermaid! that sounds epic! I am totally excited! LOL! mermaid sex... unless they pass their genetic code through oral sex... or do it like fish that lay a stream of eggs then the guy fish fertile those eggs].

What are multi-coloured loveheart sugar cubes (even if they aren't cubes XP)?! Hands all over is just such a good album in general! I don't know why they decided to go more pop. Though One More Night is a lot like their old stuff. It's just... idk... too up beat - takes away from what made them really great! ><

No no it's fine! Really! Long comments and lots of talking is something no one will ever reject! (well, as long as it's praise and reasonable, useful concrit).

smoking huts? Congrats on quitting smoking though! ahahah!

How long ago did you finish college?!

NIshikido Ryo is Takajima's Senpai! :D in Kanjani 8 :D I know right?! ;___;

Damn it! I was close! I knew it was Rock n' Roll movie! If i see it around I'll take the time to watch it then ^^

YabuHika crack is the best sort of crack! i shall have to go check her out :D

on the subject of mermaid sex... why do i suddenly have this image of mermaid takaki smacking yuto in the face with his tail, shouting "suck my fin, bitch!" hmm, i guess my mind is a strange place... i like the idea of writing a series of short crack fics, and in one i want to turn everyone into female/fictional characters [Takaki, obviously, will be a mermaid, and everyone will be freaking out going "SHIT WHEN DID I GROW BOOBS!" "HOW COME KEITO MAKES A PRETTIER PRINCESS THAN ME?!" and Takaki will be calmly sitting in the corner, waiting for the panic to die down before mentioning "guys, i'm half a fucking fish..."]

love heart sugar cubes are literally little love hearts, made of sugar, dyed all different colours with food colouring! they make cute gifts :3 i've also found a receipe for fortune cookies, but you neeed to work quickly to fold them or they crack, and i'm pretty sure i'm going to fail the first time... (also, i'm not entirely sure what to write as peoples fortunes. other than "the force is strong in this one"... sorry, just ignore me and my starwars references...)

to be honest, i haven't even listened to Maroon5's new stuff... i'm a little slow on the uptake. besides, i spend alll my money on k-pop and j-pop, i can't afford western music as well!

i finished college... uh... June 2010. O_______________O i can't believe i've spent two years out of education and have achieved NOTHING. [the smoking huts were just a sheltered area where we were allowed to light up. i think the idea was to keep all the smoke and litter in one place. i used to bunk a lot of my lessons and go hang out with my friends there :D good times]

I'M TALKING WAY TO MUCH ABOUT MYSELF.
...
what's your favourite thing about YOU? :D

Reply

haka_nai August 9 2012, 23:04:40 UTC
AHAHAHAHHAHAH! I LOVE IT! OMG! OMG! THAT IS THE BEST FIC IDEA EVER! (mostly because Takaki is like "i'm half-fish".

That is totally okay! What's wrong with making fortunes as movie taglines? It'd be so fun! Then your fortune cookies become a game of "What movie is that anyways?!"

Oh no >_< At least Western Music isn't as costly as Jpop/Kpop CDs are. Anyways, Overexposed is not worth buying. This is the best kind of thing that is free! :D

So you're 24/25 then? I'd say that's okay but /sighs. At least you work full-time yes? [That's really cool! UK is so well organized!]

NO no it's okay^^ I like hearing about other people! Favourite thing about me... woow couldn't pick an easier question could you XP I really can't say. I get told more times than not what my bad qualities are so I don't know exactly what I can be proud of about myself. I haven't accomplished much either. Just a lump most of the time. It's hard to pick something I really like when as of late, there isn't a lot to like about me. I'm a paranoid, angry, overly stressed girl that doesn't really have a proper hobby.

I suppose a more narcissistic individual could tell you exactly what they love most about themselves a lot more easily. But with maturity we all need to learn to not dive so deeply into our self-absorbed nature and learn to be more modest. I'm digressing and not answering the question. Though, i think i came up with an answer as I was typing this. LOL! [how?! i have no idea].

I'm going to pull a Chinen and say I'm absolutely fucking adorable! But that's mostly because I get told i'm adorable. It's like chinen, he looks up at you and defeats people like Yabu and Takaki with his eyes alone. It's a nice little defensive technique. But that's really super vain of me to admit. Sorry about that.

What's your favourite thing about you?

i'm actually 21 next month (: when you finish compulsory education in the UK at 16, you either go to sixth forth for two years (which is like an extended, brainier version of main school), college where you can concentrate on just one skills based subject (which can take 1-3 years, depending if you stick with the same course and how advanced you want to be), or you get straight into work.

i don't have a full time job, but i have two part time jobs instead :) though i should really try harder and find a proper job, i need to fund by my k and j pop flavoured addictions. i sat down the other day and figured out how much I'd spent in total... it was painful u__u but hey! what good is money if you don't spend it? :D *yay for relentless optimism* )

DON'T LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO ONLY CONCENTRATE ON YOUR BAD QUALITIES! people who focus on the negative parts of other people only do so because they're dissatisfied with themselves or they are threatened by your good points. the next time someone puts you down, smile sweetly at them while thinking as LOUD as you can, "fuck you, i'm fabulous!"

at the risk of sounding patronizing and/or condescending, i'm sure there are loads of things to like about you :) i already know that you've got a good imagination, you're articulate and you're friendly (: and if my stalker skills have improved at all, you're 20 years old? you've still got plenty of time to develop hobbies and things! if you could do anything, what would you do? :D

don't worry about being vain! while excessive vanity is not exactly sexy, it's important to acknowledge you're good points. if you don't love yourself, no one else can either :(

if people tell you you're adorable, embrace the cuteness! (or even better, stop them in their tracks with Chinen-vision!) being adorable is a fantastic quality- you can get away with anything! and even though you listed angry under a bad quality, if you combine angry with cute... well. could you get pissed with a chibi-Chii-chan throwing a hissy fit? no, you couldn't. because you'd be rendered blind from over exposure to adorableness!

[speaking of Chii, have you seen Sprout? i've only seen a teeny bit... when topless Chinen walks round a corner in a bathtowl and bumps into a girl. i had to replay it. CHII-CHAN, WHEN DID YOU BECOME RIDICULOUSLY ATTRACTIVE!? :( ]

my favourite thing about me...
hmm, when i was little people called me "artistic"... but i think that was just a nice way of saying i was angry all the time :P so i'll go with the slightly safer option. i'm a free spirit. i'm not ashamed to stand out, even if other people think i look like a complete loser i'll do my own thing, because at the end of the day what's the point of trying to be anyone but myself?

...ok, so now i sound like narcissistic hippy child :/ gomen na.

OH! COOL! What day is your birthday? ! I'll mark it on my calendar :DD AHHHH! Okay! So complicated! But at least the UK gives you a lot of options.

Two part time jobs = 1 full time job with potentially better pay! /air pump! True true! Though if you save and save and save then one day you can buy something infinitely more special that the things that keep you happy immediately. :D

Hard to escape the people you live with though orz /hugs tight you are an amazing person you know! So optimistic! So lovely! Never stop being optimistic! You'll always and forever brighten my day with it!

Get to know me, and you tell me ^^ If i could do anything what would I do? ... i'd go learn how to play the saxaphone (has nothing to do with Yamada - it's something i've always wanted to do), I want to learn how to dance and get good at it. THough, there is a strict regiment with it and I'm not great with strict regiment. When I start being pushed seriously, I lose interest in it. Like the piano. I hated practicing and so I just stopped taking lessons (well that and we were paying money to practice with an instructor and not learn anything new). I don't love dancing like some people do, but it'd
be fun! OH! and Singing too! Like if I could actually sing ( at bare minimum) a disney song well, i'd be really happy ^^

That's true - about the someone can't love you if you can't love yourself thing. /sighs. Hopefully it gets better?

I have seen a little bit - he's okay. For me, no matter how good a guy looks if his personality sucks (which Chinen's insane ego has proven many times to just be obnoxious) makes him not as attractive. His body looks good though! Congrats lil Chinen, you've become a man! (ew! weird!)

You channeled your anger into art i'm assuming?

nah nah! okay, hippy yes! but that's okay. ^^

my birthday is the 22nd :D

and you're definitely right about the saving thing! i needed to save up enough to go on an exchange trip later this year, so i figured out the minimum i needed to save a week... it's all paid up now, so now my savings account is hungry for new savings!! i must get around to feeding that...

you made me blush :S *superman pose* I PROMISE TO ALWAYS MAKE YOU SMILE!! or try, at least. as for the people you live with, did i mention i'm a professional bitch smacker? :D

the saxaphone is easily the sexiest instrument known to man, don't you think? that or the piano... ah, i'm like you! in my family, everyone apart from myself can play the piano. i can play a little by ear, but i downright refused to be taught :/ my bad though, because i really, really love piano music.

dancing is great!! personally i SUCK, as like you i have an allergy to strict regiments, but i refuse to let that stop me. dancing frees the soul, no?

it will get better (: as life goes on and you go through new experiences and meet new people, learning to love yourself is one of those things that just click in with the rest of it. [did that even make any sense?]

i think if i was as talented as Chinen, i'd probably have a substantial ego... but you're right, it's definitely NOT sexy. speaking of not sexy, i accidentally found this picture earlier. IT FREAKS ME OUT.

CHINEN, PUT YOUR FACE AWAY!!

i guess you could say that, but rather than honing my drawing skills [though i swear down, my stickmen are out of this world] i learned how to spin things. mostly hoop-y things. :D

sorry if my message today seems a little flat, i've had a really busy couple of days and now i've got a serious case of brainache...

Really?! That's funny! Not in a bad way it's just that my dad's is the 21st and brother's is the 23 and while i was growing up i had friends with their birthday on the 22nd! It makes yours that much easier to remember ^^ (Birthday is now on calendar!)

Where did you go on exchange?!

Professional Bitch Smacker? No you did not but that sounds like an incredible career! I shall hire you when I need one for sure ^^

It really is on the sexiest instruments! I totally agree! But playing by ear is so cool! You can play infinitely more music that way since you're not bound to having to read the notes and you can follow the tempo easier. I'm jealous!!! Which are some of your favourite piano pieces?

It does!!! Though somehow dancing at clubs seems restricting? or am I crazy? I feel there are too many people in the room and too many expectations to hook up with someone while dancing that you don't truly get to enjoy it.

Yes it did make sense. Thank you! No one has actually told me it gets better before - usually i'm the one to give that advice to people ^^ Btw: where exactly in the UK are you currently residing in?

OMG OMG OMG !!! CHINEN FROM THE JUMP WORLD JACKET SHOOT! SOO FUNNY! Yuto and Takaki make the best faces! They are so freaking derp it's hilarious (yuya more than yuto, yuto is kinda stiff). But i can see how Chinen is frightening here >_<

Chinen put your face away I love you for saying that!

Spin hoop things? Like hula-hoop or like hoop things on other parts of your body (sorry, that sounded like gross).

No worries^^ I'm just happy you got back to me ^^

that is strange! but at the same time, kind of cool :) i shall put your birthday on the list of birthdays for next years calandar :D

i haven't gone on the exchange yet, we leave in October. i'm a little nervous, because i'm going to be older than everyone by about 5 years :/ but fuck it, it's japan. it wouldn't matter if i was travelling with a troup of canabalistic elves.

oops, i'm not that good! i haven't got perfect pitch, so i really struggle to find the starting note. but once i've found it, i can usually figure things out... lately, i've really been enjoying Yiruma- do you know him? [obviously, not personally...] he's a Korean composer, and while his pieces aren't too complicated, they're ridiculously pretty. my favourites are "When The Love Falls" and "River Flows in You". currently, i'm trying to learn "I Remember" [Bang Youngguk / Yang Yoseob]. because that song gives me the CHILLS. what kind of piano music do you like? :)

you are not crazy! i barely bother going out clubbing- the music is ALWAYS bad [though i like to blame that on living in the least racially diverse county in the UK], everyone is hideously underdressed, and the dance floor is being hogged by fornicating couples. ew. [that said, the last time i went out was for a fancy dress birthday club crawl. i dislike alcohol so i got hyped up on redbull, and by the end of the night while everyone else was busy throwing up i was busting out the grooves, dressed in a giant koala onesie thing. it was pretty awesome.]

at the moment, i'm in sunny suffolk. the land of farmers and, uh, farms. WHERE ARE YOU!?

i have the dvd of that! why did i not recognise that!? [it's not like it's a forgetful expression... maybe i blocked it out?]...

*some shuffling and VLC'ing later...*

may i present to you, grr_chan's top 3 derp faces!!

"racist Yuto"

"Hikaru the confused Pufferfish!"

and my personal favourite,
"Takaki's pulling face."

i like to spin things a little like this. except i'm not this smooth.

sometimes it might take me a day or two to reply, but i'll always reply!!

oh, and i don't want to nag, but have you managed to watch the adventurous adventures yet? i was watching it earlier, and it still cracks me up. [Harry, come back! we can't go in two directions, we have to go in ONEdirection!]

THAT IS AMAZING! AREN'T YOU LUCKY! pfft being 5 years older! おめだとう!

I don't know him, not really into korean culture much. I will take a look later though when I am not in my folk music stage. I promise! I like concert piano and jazz piano. Jazz i find really soothes me and helps me sleep so I've gotten into the habit of listening to it :D

[that sounds fantastic! oh my! I wish I could have seen it! XP Alcohol >_< It's fun sometimes like casually but when it's taken in extreme social cases like parties or even well daily and alcoholism has been established its just >___<] I'm glad you think i'm not crazy though! Seriously! I feel a lot better.

So northern UK? COOL! FARMS!!! What animals do you raise? I'm in Toronto which is Southern Ontario. I live like 2 hours away from New York State.

Did you not enjoy the DVD that you blocked it from your memory?

TAKAKI IS THE KING OF DERP I LOVE IT SO MUCH OMG OMG OMG!!!! Yuto the racist I like that comment too! Funny how it's racist even when he does it. XP

That's amazing! Is it part of a rhythmic gymnastic routine or is it considered dance?

OMG LOL! Not yet! sorry >_<

GRRR!! i'd written a really long and semi-epic reply, then my internet died and closed my browser :( grr.

so i'll start again :D

gomen na! i forget, mixing korean and japanese culture appears to be generally frowned apon :( but it is a really good song.

could i be cheeky and ask you to recommend some Jazz piano? i grew up listening to Jools Holland, but other than him i know nothing. similarly with folk music, by knowledge comprises of Yuzu (Umaku Ienai/ and the rest of the Wonderful World CD) and Bellowhead (Sloe Gin). it must be refreshing to enjoy all different types of music :)

i'm sorry, my explanatory skills suck!! i'm in central-east UK, (if you were to look at a map of England, theres a curvy bump above the bottom left corner of the island? i'm in that bump :D) personally, i don't raise any animals- apart from that one time i raised frogspawn... i think as a region we mostly raise pigs :) piglets are SO CUTE <3 if you could raise any animal, what would you pick? :)

i love how casually you put that :D to me, the state of New York is as much as a reality as Narnia! [i'm such a country bumpkin O____________o]. oh oh! is it true that a couple of times a year, some streets in Toronto align with the sun?!

it's not that i didn't enjoy the dvd, just Chinen's expression in that screen shot genuinely terrifies me! and Takaki has to be the king of derp, otherwise how would he balance out all that sexy? don't you love how he goes from dorky to gorgeous and back in 60 seconds?

in reference to rasict Yuti, i'm afraid i'm going to have to break social protocol again with a kpop macro...

we like to call it hoopdance :D though lately it appears to have become an excercise fad... but hey, it gets more people spinning :D

in other news, lately, has anyone told you you're lovely? because you really are :) i really enjoy logging into lj to find a message from you. makes me go all sparkly on the inside. [sorry if i sound like a slightly mental English stalker. D:]

haka_nai August 16 2012, 19:34:41 UTC
Is it frowned upon? I thought just comparing the two really ticked everyone off? oh well /shrugs. Learn something knew everyday.

To be honest, I just listen to the jazz station. I don't have one particularly artist that I am most fond of. I'm not THAT into Jazz. XP Yuzu is folk!? really?! Okay: I'm not that into folk either. Country music makes me too weepy to listen to it always. So i fail orz

PIGLETS!!! OH MY! that sounds adorable! i wanna see the piglets now!! ahhh! so a lot of the UK is farmland i'm assuming then? The most urban part of the UK would be London yes? (i have a friend up in Northern England so i'm trying to piece together your country XP) I raised a hamster for a summer! that was fun! :D I like animals but /wrinkles nose I'm not so much into taking care of them. I couldn't pick an animal to raise because a lot of the really cool ones shouldn't be domesticated. Having a bunny would be cute except it's bowel movements would a pain to clean. I deal with kids okay though! No issues with kids just animals >_< What about you!?

Wait?! streets of toronto align with the sun!? where did you read this!? O_O I have never heard of this! o_o Being a rural person isn't so bad! You get to see all the stars :D though it gets kinda of cold and things are harder to get too but there is a lot of fresh air and quiet :D

YES! derp + sexy = takaki yuya! I like that :D the perfect balance thing! It's the most incredible thing how he does that but that's why we love him and why he's so special :D

AHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH! Shinee! <3

Has it really become a fad?! I am excited to see people do it here! My mom will probably get into it at one point. :D OMG! my mom was talking about her office reading 50 shades of grey. I was in a fit of giggles. apparently even a group of 40+ ladies don't like it. How did that book get published?!

Nawww!! Really?! Thank you! I apologize that this message is so late then ;___; I love logging in and finding a message from you too ^^ (pfft! that's okay ^^)

you're icon makes me smile :D

in other news...

SURPRISE!! I HAVE RETURNED!! my internet has been dead for weeks, but now i'm back to bother you! i hope you didn't think i had forgotten you!!

there is a lot of farmland here, but while London is probably the most urban area, there are other big cities- my favourite is Cambridge, which isn't huge, but it's still quite large. :)

i used to have a hamster, he was called gingerface and he was awesome beyond words. but i developed an allergy and wasn't allowed to get another one when his life ran out :( which made me sad- hamsters are great when you're upset, you go to say hello and they come out of their nest, and you can rant about what a craptacular day you've had and everything that went wrong, go into all the details of who what when and where, and the whole time you're little furry friend will just be sitting there, watching you with his big beady eyes, wondering when you're going to shut up and give him a monkey nut. oh, good times...

in my ideal world, i'd like to have a pet tiger- not one that i'd keep on a leash and train to do tricks, but a giant house cat who'd enjoy cuddles, having his paws tickled and watching Japanese dramas with me. who needs a boyfriend when you can have TIGER cuddles?!

but alas, in reality, that probably wouldn't be a good idea.

i read about "Torontohenge" here. sorry, rereading my comments, i'm a total nerd. i can't help it, i have a huge memory for useless but quirky information! living in the middle of nowhere is THE BEST. fresh air is good for your lungs AND your soul. also, back when i used to chain smoke all day i used to look forward to the last cigarette before sleep- outside, under the stars.

haha, 50 shades of grey! i was totally late on that- all the women i work with were talking about it on the sly and i really had no clue what they were talking about! didn't it start as twilight fanfiction and then get published via kindle oojamawhutsits? what i find amusing is how men get so angry about it- there was an article in a magazine about one guy getting really angry and covering his girlfriend in HP sauce after her found her reading it [he wanted her to really know what "saucy" meant, i believe his excuse was], saying about how the book is filth and practically porn...

and the whole time i was reading this, all i could think was "he's getting all high and mighty about porn like he's never watched any! THE HYPOCRITE!!"

My friend made it :D It's beautiful :D WELCOME BACK! I was like, "where grr-chan go!? did she abandon me?!" I'm glad to know my fears were unnecessary :D

What is it about Cambridge that you like so much?

AHAHHAHAHAHAH! that is the most incredible explanation on why hamsters make good pets! I'm sorry to hear about your allergy towards gingerface >< It's so sad! What animals aren't you allergic too?

TOUCHE TOUCHE! Though, having a giannnttt cat might be fun! like a giant dog sized cat :D That's reasonable! OH! and to answer your question, in the time that you have been gone I have decided that the animal of choice that I would love to own is a german sheppard named Brutus :D He'd be all loveable and sweet but a big, manly police dog :D

ohhh, i see. As much as filling your lungs with cancer (which sucks! literally, pun totally intended) the situation kind of feels romantic and relaxing in a way. I was reading this book, where the character had a pack of cigarettes and treated the cigarettes as a metaphor, so he'd put one in his mouth but not light it. So i can totally see sitting under the stars, in the fresh air w/ a lit or un-lit cigarette being one of the most amazing thing in the world! :D

It is filth and practically porn! Kudos to men for getting angry LOL to the man who took it too far XP /rolls eyes people and their backwards thoughts.

btw Torontohenge ... that's epic! I've never heard of that but omg! that's so cool ! Blinding and dangerous but cool! :D

i will never abandon you!! occasionally it may take me a short lifetime to reply, but mwhahaha, you're stuck with me. *victory pose*

good things about Cambridge:
~there's lots of big, fancy buildings in the city center along with wide open spaces
~there's lots of foreign students, and even when they go home it stays slightly multi-cultural
~it has a sushi restaurant, a four floor bookstore, a lush (cosmetics) and a forbidden planet (comics/manga/anime/etc)
~because it's home to a zillion universities, it's a city full of young people :D
~i was born there :3

i'm glad you liked my explanation, reading it back i guess i really do ramble a lot... ah well.

i don't think i'm allergic to other animals, other than some long-furred dogs. strangely i'm not allergic to cats, which is much more common :/ i'm allergic to hamsters, kiwifruit and some kinds of plasters. WHAT ARE YOU ALLERGIC TO? :D

oh oh oh oh oh. i'm not sure how much k-pop you listen to, but have you heard GD's new EP? it makes me sparkle on the inside...

I'd loved to be stuck with you though :D

it has a sushi restaurant, a four floor bookstore, a lush (cosmetics) and a forbidden planet (comics/manga/anime/etc) ohhhhh!!!! that is super appealing! 4 floor bookstore!!! You could hide in a crevice with a good book and no one would be able to find you :DDDD

there's lots of foreign students, and even when they go home it stays slightly multi-cultural in general, are their places where it is less multi-cultural in the UK? (it's hard to imagine because in Toronto, it is extremely multi-cultural)

NOOO! that is a tragedy that you are allergic to kiwi fruit ;___; Kiwi is delicious ;___; Allergies... umm... i have sensitive skin so I can't use scented soaps and certain cleansers. other than that, nothing XP

I DID!!! I heard Crayon yesterday while i was waiting for class to start!! It was okay. I'll have to listen to all of it then to understand this sparkley feeling. I've been listening to T-ARA and Orange Caramel's new singles :D They are also quite enjoyable & catchy :D
