The Winter Solace
Because for every bad day you have you have to have a totally awesome one. Well today was it for me.
Yesterday I checked in a really sweet hot English med student. He was only meant to stay one night, but I managed to flirt with him like a slut burger on international slutday in slutville. I was willing to pass the event off as one of those perfect conversations to file away in my mind and I can look back on it thinking of him as the perfect man.
So this morning I get my sleep in, have breakfast with Elisha. I get ready to meet Bridget in Broadway. I decide to be lazy and bus it down and I ended up being half an hour or so late. The bus stops outside the hotel and guess who gets on? HOT ENGLISH MED STUDENT! I move over on my seat before he sees me and then I look up when I know he’s close enough to make eye contact with.
He was really happy to see me and sits down and starts chatting away to me like we’ve known each other for ages and like everything I say is awesome and vice versa. The bus trip lasts 3 mins tops. *sigh* but that was a perfect 3 mins.
I find Bridget and she being preggers needs to pee so we go to the new bathrooms and OMG they have a makeup waiting room with lights around the mirrors so I decide this is the perfect place to A) Re-Apply my lip-gloss and B) Give Bridget my brand spanking new business cards.
My credit card smells like burning. Because of the following:
4 t-shirts, one with super Mario bros on it, one with wonder woman, one with super girl and "kiss me I have AWESOME powers" and one with Little Miss Chatterbox. I got some storage devices to organize my room, I bought Bridget the bestest baby book ever which is based on the hungry caterpillar book, I also got some DVDs and developed my Halloween photos (see facebook)
Wait, WAIT...I left out the other books I got, I bought the Secret because its totally going to work and A POP UP KARMA SUTRA OH YES I DID! (Photos pending)
We stopped for some tasty wood fired pizza and found soooo many awesome things I’ve put on the mental shopping list in my mind.
All in all and awesome day. I also bought Elisha a little miss sunshine shirt and then hid it in our apartment and left her 10 post it clues to find it, she loved it!
One word to describe my mood right now: Content.
