5 things Ishida Uryuu never did. Warning: extremely schmoopy.
Theme 2.
bury
Ishida had always felt it ironic that, between the two of them, he was far more emotionally healthy than Kurosaki. For all his noise and bluster, the shinigami buried his true feelings beneath a mountain of denial. Ishida, however, was more than capable of acknowledging his feelings, even if he didn’t give voice to them. He never buried anything.
It had served him in good stead. It was why Inoue was snuggled happily by his side, instead of the glaring Kurosaki’s, across the room… and why Ishida wore a slight (but obvious) smile as he wrapped his arm around her.
Theme 4.
diabolical
“Please,” Orihime gasped, twisting restlessly on the mussed sheets as Ishida’s hands manipulated her, driving her higher toward a release that promised to be shattering. If he’d ever let her get there.
“Please,” she begged, fingers clutching at him as he slid down her body and began to use his mouth. Sweaty tendrils of hair clinging to her face and throat, and her eyes were wide and glazed with pleasure.
“Uryuu, please,” she whispered, and the naked desire in her voice was his undoing. The taste of her on his tongue, he gave in to her wishes and slid home.
Theme 9.
rush
Ishida was never late. He considered it an insult to the one he was meeting, and always took care to give himself plenty of time. But ever since he’d begun dating Inoue-no, Orihime, he reminded himself-they were rarely anything else.
“I’m so sorry!” Orihime exclaimed to the impatiently-waiting cluster of their schoolmates. “It’s all my fault! We were going to be on time but I was missing a button, and then Uryuu-kun was just looking so sexy, sewing like that! I couldn’t help myself.”
Under the circumstances, Ishida didn’t even mind having to apologize to the glowering Kurosaki.
Theme 10.
search (note: this one has a "sequel" in
5 things Inoue Orihime never did)
“But I can’t sleep without it!” Orihime wailed, her posterior the only thing in sight as she dove under her bed in search of her lost plushie. “Please, Uryuu-kun, help me find it!”
He sighed and dropped to his knees to help look, but it was nowhere to be found.
“I guess I’m too old to be sleeping with plushies, anyway.” Orihime heaved a sigh. “I guess I’ll just be all by myself in that bed…”
“You don’t have to be,” Ishida murmured, flushing, and then his arms were full of enthusiastically babbling girlfriend.
They slept very well, that night.
Theme 23.
flowers
When Orihime’s birthday came around, Ishida found himself at a loss for what to give her. Until he passed the florist, and saw the most perfect, most suitable flower. He decided, instead of a bouquet (that would have been far too unwieldy) he would give her one a day for the entire month.
The girls said he should have picked a more romantic flower, and the boys said something smaller and cheaper would have been better.
Orihime loved them, however; she took one look at the sunflowers he gave her and squealed with joy. Just like he knew she would.
