The Ease of Typing
Alrighty, time to update my Livejournal! I just got out of work 2 hours early and so I came here to wait for Joni to get out of class, and since Brant commanded updates I thought I'd get to it.
Anyways, what to say. Well, I guess things are ok...
WE WON A FLIPPIN' HONEYMOON TO HAWAII!!!
Heck yeah! Long story short, me and Joni went to a Bridal Showcase and pretended that we were engaged. We looked at all the booths with catering, photography, DJs, etc etc and entered our names in a good number of drawings. Little did we know though that we had entered two different drawings for a Honeymoon AND WE WON ONE! So yeah, really excited! Me and Joni both agreed to use it to celebrate her getting out of college after she graduates. So yeah, thats something to look forward to. She also won a free makeover so someone is comin' out to our house on the 22nd (this upcoming Tuesday) to give her and her friends a free make-over and a 10$ somethin'.
But there is always bad with the good. Things have gotten rather boring, but that is partially my fault. Before we won this we really didn't have much to look forward to but I guess that is just my problem in general. I'm trying to give up on Video Gaming...for good. I can't just drop it though, but everytime I am alone I end up trying to sneak in some game time on my DS. Thats the only thing I do anymore to get in the least amount of trouble, but I'm told I should be using my time more productively so I made a daily list of things to do INSTEAD of playing with my Nintendo DS.
I heard they were making an Assasin's Creed game for the DS. I'm totally buying it with the Gamestop Game Time Card money that I have left for Christmas.
Me and Joni are still workin' on gettin' our money up together. As soon as she graduates we are going to try to move away from Vincennes and really get out there on our own. I just don't know where I'd want to live, more or less what I'm going to do when we get there. I guess I'm just not a go-do person, but I do think it would help me get stuff done if we did get out of here. Its the Vincennes Dream...to leave Vincennes.
I've started keeping my own journal at home since I don't have access to Livejournal as much as I do anymore and I guess it really does help get someone's thoughts, feelings, and emotions in order. Its like emptying the contents of a juice while the blender is still going. If its out it can just lay still so I can freakin' know what I'm thinking I guess. I even got a fancy pen and everything for this but its going to kill my left hand before I know it.
I guess me and Joni are going to prepare to steal one of the stray cats from my house and bring it home. A stray cat, Pumpkin, has hung out on the porch at our place everyday for who knows how long. Something that we've looked forward to doing is adopting him for our own and finally giving him the home and love that at least I feel he deserves. (I'm the only one who feels sorry for'm.)
