Last American entry for a month!
I am planning on waking up in 3 hours to get ready for tomorrow slash today.
My mom almost started crying this evening. The boys were golfing so it was just me and her at home. We ate some sinfully good cheesecake and were even planning on sharing with them, but they were running late, so we ate their pieces too, but shhhhhhh, I don't want them to find out.
Anyways, I was showing her this frekin awesome plug adapter i got (oh. my. god. that was by far the most ridiculous thing i have ever said in my life. i'm going to go drown myself as soon as I finish with this) for the trip, and she just got real motherly. I almost cried, too (almost, but not quite).
I'm gonna miss my whole fam, but in a good way. not the kind where you want to go home, but the kind where you just miss the little things like splitting a piece of cheesecake with your mom.
Oh, I actually got grunted at this afternoon. by my father. when i brought up the whole suitcase thing. I couldn't believe it! He grunted! and then he went and moved our herd of vehicles and got the big one down, bless his heart. ***grunts***
Ok, so I think I am going to try and throw a few hours of sleep into myself before I leave.
