my frigging leg isnt getting any better, and also probably worse since i kept standing on it yesterday since i wanted the money. this morning, i hobbled my ass down to the bus stop, apparently missed the bus since my hobble is pretty slow despite furious wing-flapping. the prospect of making it back to the apartment, much less standing around all day, seemed pretty goddamn daunting, so i called out. which SUCKS because i only had 2 shifts this week anyway, and although i'm not in dire straights, it is annoying to lose out on like 100 bucks, so far! what if the doctor is like, "You fucked up. You stay off that thing for A MONTH" i'd be in trouble. ALSO i walk friggin everywhere i go. i hate making drs appointments and sitting in waiting rooms anyway.
i've decided i can only eat pasta for dinner tonight because i don't deserve real food because i brought home NO BACON. shaammee.
i'm supposed to be doing homework now but instead of reading death in venice (BLEAAHGCHH) and answering questions for vocab class, i spent the last hour reading old Hyperbole and a Half's and now i sound like Allie Brosh and i don't want to do anything. for a second today i was like I SHOULD BLOG PROFESSIONALLY and then i was like FALSE you aren't that funny and you don't have anything exciting to write about and remember how she's so broke she can't heat her house in MONTANA. so, wrong career path. BUT here's how it would sound, because i would spend all my time reviewing things:
MOVIES IVE SEEN RECENTLY:
sherlock holmes: really good! Jude Law and RDJ should have made out more though. ALSO rachel mcadams looked smokin in her awesome clothes but i didnt buy the whole super-tricky nice-villain act.
avatar: good, fine. totally entertaining actually, and pretty. but, you know, clearly pocahantas-ferngully. which isn't a bad thing.
imaginarium of dr parnassus: if i had any journalistic integrity i would have to have somebody do a guest review, because i am incapable of being impartial when Heath Ledger is around. also, director Terry Gilliam because of Brazil (so good dudes) and ALSO fantastical realism, as evidenced by my reading of all the twilight AND sookie stackhouse novels even though they are BAD. evidence of all three together found in my deep love for The Brothers Grimm which i watched twice in a row which probably isnt a high quality film. ANYWAY it was friggin AWESOME expecially if you like Tragic Whimsy like i do. adam was more unimpressed, and said he would not recommend it to the average blockbuster renter. unless they have always loved heath ledger EVEN IN the order. EVEN THAT ONE YOU GUYS.
gamer: wtf. that was gross, body pieces wise, even though i love that inevitable bones scene in the opening where skin drips off of something. BLERG. like avatar, but less so, entertaining but not at all original. also i have a problem when i recognize an actor too much. SO the guy who played jess on gilmore girls played somebody named Rick Rape (bleck) for about a minute and i was double unimpressed. and then LUDACRIS was supposed to be a rebel-leader and i just kept getting the song "Yeah!" by Usher stuck in my head.
you guys death in venice is STUPID so is vocabulary class
