And a very definite Bah Humbug to you too!

Break means I get to be shuttled hither and fro between my parents.  It's not so bad though, Xmas and New Years being in separate weeks means they can both be placated with a holiday to themselves.  And with the stipulation that each can visit the other's abode on said respective holidays.  So everything's peaches and plum pudding and whatnot.  I want Christmas cookies. >.>

Although I plan to skiv out at some point in the break, and head to Mount Airy for Harry.  I owe him that much for coming to see me yesterday anyways.  Speaking of, we felt like SUCH teenagers.  Like the hanging out at the mall kind of teenagers, which is odd because neither of us ever did that as under 18yr olds.  The Gastonia mall really is rather dismal, but I was slightly more embarassed by how I could barely figure out WHERE the HELL we were going.  Gah!!  I've only lived here for, y'know, 18 freaking years.  But anyone who's a bit familiar with the asians of Gastonia might remember Jenny who used to be the hostess at Golden Palace and now owns (yes?) Hsia Resturaunt, the one really near me.  While we (Ben, father, Harry, me) were walking out she ask if this was Cristy's boyfriend, recieved a prompt "No, just a friend" and then said "ahh, cute couple!"  I couldn't stop laughing after that to, I think, Harry's chagrin...  But he grinned at it too, so I'm clearly just easily amused!

Thanks to Hulu, the bestest source for legal, free movies, I'm almost finished with The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes.  The Queen Victoria is extremely ridiculous, but I really like the Holmes.  Even if he is a bit more Fabulous than I expected.  And Watson is... stodgy.  I think I'll watch  The Russia House next, since it's about to expire... something *must* be done about my freakishly long queue.  Oh God, and there's more ReGenesis seasons online too!  Best faux-med drama ever, all thanks to a bunch of Canadians.

I'ma gonna hafta kick my brother off the TV at some point.  He's been glued to it with his damned xbox since he got it Friday and I hate to think what the blatant racism and voilence of grand theft auto is doing to his skrunken teenage brain.
