I can tell I'm way too hormonal when I get teary eyed at The Queen and I feel unjustifiably angry at random people for no particular reason. *Sigh* But The Queen is actually quite decent. I wouldn't know how well they portrayed her, but Helen Mirren never fails. For that matter, neither does whoisface, her husband who was also the farmer in Babe. Love them!
And there are somewhere around 20 more days of accessing LJ via proxy! That's about the only thing I won't miss, because trying to load everything is slow and I forget what I came for by the time it's ready. Grr.
I managed to burn myself on a hot pan on Sunday. It's a great big burn too (3cm or so?), with a blue-ish color and raised blisteriness around the edged too. If it scars, it'll be weird looking indeed. Although I could make it more interesting with a pen, that'd be fun.
We had the annual research symposium again today, giving us the altogether-pointless 30 class schedule rotation. But if the NC Congress ever wants to take away our tuition grant, they should come to one of these. Ohh, yeah, and someone managed to convince the juniors that they had to apply for the tuition grant? Like write essays about how much they've learned and how they deserve thousands of dollars. The admin had to send out an email about it. haha, silly juniors. :)
And I managed to miss Psychology today, which is no surprise, really. Since the AP exam is over, she gave us final projects due the last day of school and told us to check in at some point every day to check progress and for attendance. Well, what with the Symposium and whatnot, it slipped my mind completely. That, and I've yet to pick the 3 movies to do the project on, much less start a code sheet for each of them. *le sigh* I hope she doesn't count it, or I get some sort of administrative punishment and have to set up chairs for graduation, meaning waking up early on a night I'm not planning to sleep during anyways.
