Still in London! (You expected something else?)

All is well here in Londres...spent the morning bouncing from theatre to theatre, deciding what to see tonight (we ended up settling on Spamalot...I was the only one who had seen it already, and the price was quite cheap for good seats, and it was practically the only show the four of us could agree on...I suppose it's a peril of traveling in a group larger than a couple, but we're still having a great time!). After a nice, long Indian lunch (£5.50 two course special! WOOT!), we went over to Westminster Abbey (trip number 3 for me, but it find it to be one of the only cathedrals/churches/houses of worship with in-house burials that honestly doesn't creep the heck out of me, so I was happy to go again!). I always learn something new or appreciate some new facet of the building whenever I go in there, and this time was no different. For the first time, I was less focused on who I was stepping on (although this time, I found Issac Newton and Rudyard Kipling!), and I actually took the time to look up! The vaulted ceilings in the place are absolutely breathtaking...nothing like it on Earth, truly.

Well, here we are, back at the hostel...we're off to Spamalot in a little while, after some dinner (we found a row of cheap noodle houses by the hostel), and we'll be off to Hampton Court Palace tomorrow. This was the former home of Henry VIII, so I'll be in Tudor Heaven! (But not the headless kind...that would stink royally.)
