osmosing
Yeah, I haven't been posting much personal stuff (or much stuff at all.) Many LJ friends have been slowly osmosing to other social networks or blog sites. As for myself, I've started a Twitter account AlarmingCow and I encourage you to follow me there (and make your own account so I can follow you!) I know most of the stuff that gets posted on Twitter is pretty shallow, but it's a surprisingly satisfying (if secondary) means to keep in contact with people.
I also made a blog that automatically updates my Twitter. If I ever feel like saying something substantial, I'll write it on Tumblr. I'm effectively keeping up with a few friends (two of whom will probably read this (hey guys!)) in this way right now, and I'd like to increase that number.
