Well that was a lot of fun ....not. Think they ever get bored with messin' with our heads? .....Probably not. Guess we're back to boring town until next month though. Anyone got any plans before then?

Oh! And if if anyone wants to talk about stuff... I am a trained psychiatrist! I might be able to help. Because I need somethin' ta do with my time

Are those.... hyenas? Like from the zoo?

[He's torn between being afraid of the wild animals based on what he's seen in nature documentaries, and just being plain fascinated at seeing them up close.]

Yup! Me and my puddin' rescued them from a circus!

[Hugging the dogs. They seem to like her. She indicates which one is which]

[He's impressed. He inches closer.]

Can I pet them? Will they bite?

Sure you can pet them! They're good unless I tell them not to be.

[Pats their heads.]

Just stick your hand out first and let them sniff it, that way they'll know you're not tryin' ta hurt them.

[Stick out his hand, eagerly. This is pretty exciting. It's like being on the nature channel. He's been to zoos before, but they never let him pet the animals.]

Why did you have to rescue them? Was the circus treating them badly?

[And after Harley motions to them, they sniff his hand. He doesn't seem to be a threat....

They pant. He has been accepted. Feel free to pat them.]

Yeah. They were treatin' them horribly. So we rescued them!

[His face just lights up and he starts scracthing one of them behind it's ear.]

That's really amazing, Miss Quinn. You're like some kind of hero!

[He's seriously impressed. Going out and rescuing circus animals must be really dangerous. And she even takes care of them afterwards.]

Were the circus people mad? Were you scared?

First time I've heard that.

[He is instantly their new best friend for that.]

Nope! Not at all. It was really funny though! You should have seen the looks on their faces when the realized they were gone.

[Also they were dying of laughter...but hey details.]

If you like animals, you'd love my pal Selina. She rescues cat's all the time from people tryn' ta hurt them.

[Since they seem to like that, he'll employ his other hand so they can both have ear scratches at the same time.]

It probably served those circus guys right, anyway. Especially if they were mistreating them. But maybe they learned their lesson now.

Are you part of some kind of activist group, Miss Quinn? One that protects animals?

Not really. That's more Selina's thing. We just happened to be passin' by when we saw them and decided they needed a new home.

My best friend Ivy protects plants from people though.
